Welcome to #DeviantLoveSoftware

Here you'll find news & musings on the development of the Deviant Love browser extension, as well as plenty of opportunities to provide your feedback. If you seek to get general information on Deviant Love, including how to grab it for your browser, come see its deviation page.

Questions? Bug reports? Ideas? Feel free to leave 'em in a comment here. If you'd like to make a visual suggestion, you can submit it to the Mock-ups and Suggestions folder (which doesn't require group membership).

If you can write JavaScript and handle git, and you want to contribute more than ideas to Deviant Love, you can find the source code and participate in development at the GitHub repo. Consider noting me so we can coordinate our efforts.

Note for members and watchers: By default, you'll get a message whenever a visual suggestion or mock-up has been posted (don't worry, I'll filter out the spam). If you want messages for blog posts only, click "Watching" in the upper-right corner and uncheck "Deviations".

It's back! Deviant Love development has resumed to spread more friendliness and cheer throughout deviantART, and is starting with a small but very important release!

Easier to try

On Firefox, Deviant Love is now a restartless extension - just grab it and go straight to a deviantART Faves page to try it out! If you're upgrading from a past version, you'll need to restart one last time to get the old version out of the way.

On Chrome, Deviant Love no longer requests access to your browsing activity, making it less scary to newcomers of Deviant Love!

Design tweaks

Deviant Love has received some minor adjustments for a more enjoyable visual experience, including slightly redder reds, a slightly smaller white margin, and a much lengthier progress bar. And if that's still not enough for you, plans to allow users to provide their own skins have not been cancelled!

On Chrome, this release also fixes text being displayed too small in recent Chrome versions.

You should put up the deviation in question on the group gallery! It's not immediately evident what this group is about.
