Welcome to #DeviantLoveSoftware

Here you'll find news & musings on the development of the Deviant Love browser extension, as well as plenty of opportunities to provide your feedback. If you seek to get general information on Deviant Love, including how to grab it for your browser, come see its deviation page.

Questions? Bug reports? Ideas? Feel free to leave 'em in a comment here. If you'd like to make a visual suggestion, you can submit it to the Mock-ups and Suggestions folder (which doesn't require group membership).

If you can write JavaScript and handle git, and you want to contribute more than ideas to Deviant Love, you can find the source code and participate in development at the GitHub repo. Consider noting me so we can coordinate our efforts.

Note for members and watchers: By default, you'll get a message whenever a visual suggestion or mock-up has been posted (don't worry, I'll filter out the spam). If you want messages for blog posts only, click "Watching" in the upper-right corner and uncheck "Deviations".

Deviant Love 2.2.2 '2 = Ho'

Fri Dec 25, 2015, 4:12 PM by pikadudeno1:iconpikadudeno1:
For Christmas, I'm giving Deviant Love users a dumb joke for a codename and a handful of bug fixes.

Compatible with Firefox 44

This release resolves an issue that rendered Deviant Love inert in Firefox 44, so that users of Firefox Beta can get right back into things.

Subaccounts listing fixed

When the account you're adding as a subaccount had subaccounts itself, those subaccounts will also be added to the main account. However, before this version, they wouldn't appear in the list of subaccounts in the editor. Gotta take care of those details!

The future

The refactoring I mentioned previously is complete, and the 2.3 codebase is now really nice to work with, to the point where I dread having to go back to the 2.2.x codebase to do bugfix releases like this one. I'm tempted to postpone implementing Firefox for Android support just to get 2.3 out there sooner, but it's still something I really want to have. Valentine's Day would be a lovely day to get 2.3 out, so I'll see what I have done by then.

You should put up the deviation in question on the group gallery! It's not immediately evident what this group is about.
